Nu Skin EnterprisesNu Skin's mission with the Nourish the Children® initiative is to be a powerful force in saving children's lives. This is accomplished by combining company product donations with voluntary product donations from our global distributor force and their representatives. Every donation will reach needy children through reputable relief agencies who frequently report on the progress and health of the children nourished. The primary product donated is VitaMeal®, a nutrient-dense food ideally suited to meet the nutritional requirements of malnourished children. Nu Skin Enterprises was awarded the 2007 American Business Award (better known as the Stevies) at the annual American Business Awards ceremony in New York City. The award was given in recognition of the Nourish the Children initiative for the Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program among contenders with more than 2,500 employees. Other finalists in the category included Shell Oil, Avis Budget Group, Adobe Systems, and fellow Stevie winner AAA of Northern California, Nevada and Utah. Nu Skin was also recognized as a finalist for the best Corporate Social Responsibility Program in America. The finalist nomination was given in recognition of Nu Skin's Build a Village Project, an effort that stems from the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation. The project is focused on helping the people of Malawi, Africa -- a country where a majority of the people are farmers who live on less than one dollar a day. Nearly 50 farmers and their families moved in to the village in September of last year and will live there for approximately two years, learning skills in farming, irrigation, forest conservation and more. They will then return to their villages to teach the new skills they have learned to others. Nourish the Children is 5% of what we do and 95% of who we are - Chairman of the Board, Nu Skin Enterprises, Blake Roney

Fiji Ministry of HealthAlthough Nourish the Children partners with many organizations around the world, with their primary global partner being Feed The Children, the Fiji Ministry of Health was chosen as their distribution partner for VitaMeal in Fiji. This partnership enables Nourish the Children to distribute its VitaMeal product to thousands of children in distant corners of Fiji without charge. That's a win-win situation for both organizations...but the real winners are the hungry children we serve.
